Chhun On Golf Resort, Lakes Course
Located just an hour north of Phnom Penh in Chhveang Village, Chhun On Golf Resort is set to transform Cambodia's golf landscape. Situated along National Road #130, the resort is conveniently close to key attractions like the Royal Palace and National Museum.
Designed by Brian Curley of Schmidt-Curley Design, the resort is developing two distinct 18-hole courses. The Lakes Course is scheduled to open in late February 2024, with The Palms Course following in 2025. Both courses will feature five tee boxes, including a challenging 7,300-yard black tee.
The resort's fairways and tee boxes are crafted from Zoysia Zeon, while the greens use Zoysia Primo, a high-quality grass seen at top courses like Hoiana and Sentosa. This choice ensures excellent playability and visual appeal.
A standout feature of Chhun On Golf Resort is the island-green 19th hole, accessible only by boat and located between the two finishing holes. This unique addition promises an exciting and scenic end to your round.
