Grand Phnom Penh Golf Club

The Grand Phnom Penh Golf Course, designed by Jack Nicklaus, is a masterfully crafted course located just outside Phnom Penh. It blends seamlessly with the natural surroundings, offering an enjoyable challenge for golfers of all skill levels.

The round starts gently with a medium-length par 4, where positioning your drive to the left side of the fairway, protected by two bunkers, provides the best angle to the green. The following par 5 varies with the wind, but keeping left and avoiding a central bunker on your second shot can help you reach the green in regulation. The 3rd hole, a short par 3, features a narrow green flanked by sand.

The 4th hole, a short par 4, presents a challenge with its valley-riddled green, which can lead to three-putts if approached incorrectly. The 7th, a demanding par 5, requires an accurate tee shot to a narrow landing area and careful play around a lake to access the well-protected green. The 8th is a short, nearly driveable par 4, while the 9th, though long, is relatively straightforward apart from two fronting bunkers.

On the back nine, the 10th is a medium-length par 4 with bunkers on both sides of the fairway, requiring precision for your approach shot. The 11th is a par 3 with a sandy waste area on the right side of the green. The 12th is a short dogleg par 4 where you must decide how much water to challenge for a closer approach. The 13th, the shortest par 5, offers a risk-reward opportunity if you can navigate fairway bunkers. The 14th is a medium-length par 4 with a lake protecting the left side, making the right-side play safer but more prone to fairway bunkers.

The 15th is a long par 3 with a lake on the left, and the final two holes are challenging: the longest par 5 with a heavily protected green and the longest par 4, requiring accurate tee shots for the best approach.
