Permata Sentul Golf, set within a 700-hectare residential area 100 to 400 meters above sea level, offers a charming and challenging golfing experience. Designed by Thomson, Wolveridge, and Perret, this course features rolling fairways and two distinct nine-hole loops that showcase stunning views.
The course starts with a tricky par five that requires strategic play, especially on the second shot over a stream. The third hole, a dogleg right, demands accurate positioning to approach the green effectively.
The 13th hole, with its elevated tee, offers a narrow fairway and a centrally positioned bunker, creating a potential birdie opportunity. The par-three 15th hole is striking with its small, bunker-protected green.
A short, testing par five surrounded by towering trees challenges golfers to navigate carefully for a chance to reach the green in two shots. Although not long, the course’s clever use of terrain ensures a demanding round.
The clubhouse at Permata Sentul is compact but well-equipped, offering excellent facilities and a restaurant with international cuisine. Despite being less well-known, Permata Sentul is a gem worth visiting.
