Sentul Highlands Golf Club
Sentul Highlands Golf Club, designed by Gary Player, is a premier golf course located in the Sentul City residential area near Bogor, Indonesia. Just a 60-minute drive from Jakarta and 30 minutes from central Bogor, it was formerly known as Mentari Golf Bukit Sentul.
Opened in May 1997, this 6,538-yard, par-72 course features natural rolling terrain and offers stunning views of Gunung Salak and the Bogor foothills. The course is designed to challenge golfers of all skill levels, with tight fairways and several blind shots requiring precision over power.
The signature par-3 12th hole, with its rock-lined fairways and bunker-protected green, is a notable test for golfers. Another challenging hole is the 5th, which features a blind fairway and an uphill approach to an elevated green, demanding careful shot placement.
The club boasts a well-equipped clubhouse, including a driving range, pro shop, spa, café, and two restaurants serving local cuisine. Despite its challenging layout, Sentul Highlands Golf Club offers the opportunity for a rewarding round of golf.
