Artitaya Golf & Resort Kanchanaburi
Artitaya Golf & Resort Kanchanaburi, formerly Nichigo Golf Resort & Country Club, is located about 30 minutes north of Kanchanaburi, alongside the River Kwai Yai. Set against a backdrop of jungle-clad hills, the 27-hole course features tall trees and numerous water hazards.
The course is divided into three distinct nines: Lake, River, and Mountain. The River Course highlights include a par-3 3rd hole with an ivy-covered rope bridge and a replica of the “Bridge over the River Kwai” behind the par-4 6th green. The Lake Course features a par-4 3rd hole wrapping around a lake and a par-3 4th hole with a tee-to-green water shot. The Mountain Course, known for its undulating terrain and scenic views of limestone hills, requires precise play.
While once a top destination in the River Kwai area, Artitaya Golf & Resort now offers adequate conditions and facilities but lacks in service and amenities. The clubhouse and restaurant are basic, so it's advisable to bring your own supplies and dine elsewhere. Despite its current state, the course remains a worthwhile and enjoyable experience for golfers visiting Kanchanaburi.
