Best Ocean Golf Club
The Best Ocean Course, designed by Schmidt Curley, is a demanding links-style layout near the coast, becoming even tougher with the wind. Most golfers, except the very skilled, should consider moving up a tee box to avoid excessive challenges.
Renowned for its tight fairways flanked by water and elevated greens surrounded by bunkers, the course punishes wayward shots. Accuracy is essential; otherwise, you’ll need plenty of extra balls.
A highlight is the par-3 15th hole, a daunting 200-yard challenge requiring a precise tee shot over water to a narrow, bunker-guarded green.
On weekdays, the course is relatively quiet, allowing you to retrieve balls from water hazards without delaying others.
The clubhouse and practice facilities are excellent, befitting the course's high standards. Despite its difficulty, it's worth playing if your game is in top form.
