The round begins with a straightforward start but quickly ramps up with demanding holes. The 2nd hole requires a precise tee shot over water, while the 4th presents a dogleg with a canyon on the right. Water hazards frequently come into play, notably on the 6th and 12th holes, adding to the course’s difficulty.
The back nine continues to challenge with a tricky par-5 10th featuring an uphill approach, and the par-4 11th, where a tree can block the green for those who fall short. The par-5 13th provides a birdie opportunity, while the 14th and 15th are straightforward par-5s but can be intimidating due to water hazards.
The standout is the 18th hole, known for its dramatic canyon split and challenging approach. The clubhouse offers a terrace with views of the Canyon Course, a well-stocked pro-shop, and on-site accommodation with a spa, although the area lacks nightlife.
