Chatrium Golf Resort Soi Dao Chanthaburi, formerly Soi Dao Highland, is a serene 18-hole course set in the Khao Soi Dao Mountains, near Chanthaburi. Located about three hours from Pattaya and a bit longer from Bangkok, it offers a refreshing escape from city life.
Designed by Pirapon Namatra in 2015, the course stretches 7,144 yards from the black tees to 5,306 yards from the red tees. The layout features a mix of elevated tee boxes, flat fairways, strategically placed bunkers, and undulating greens, all surrounded by lush forests, creeks, lakes, and vibrant flora.
The climate is typically pleasant with clear skies and comfortable temperatures, making it ideal for golf. Soi Dao provides a natural, unspoiled setting, contrasting with many modern championship courses.
The course is well-maintained with excellent practice facilities, including a top-notch driving range and chipping and putting greens. On-course amenities include three halfway kiosks for food and drinks.
