Chee Chan Golf Resort
Chee Chan Golf Resort, a recent addition to Pattaya's golf scene, opened in 2018 and is easily accessible from Bangkok. Designed by David Dale of Golf Plan, it is set beneath the striking Khao Chee Chan Buddha carving, offering stunning views of both the Buddha and the surrounding Pattaya and Jomtien areas.
The 18-hole course spans 6,527 to 7,345 yards, with multiple tee options catering to various skill levels. While relatively flat, the course features undulating fairways and contoured greens, reminiscent of a links-style layout. This design promotes a firm, fast playing surface with collection areas around the greens.
Noteworthy holes include the par-4 4th, which has a large, double-tiered green protected by water on the left, and the par-3 17th, requiring a tee shot over water with a bunker at the back of the green.
Chee Chan’s facilities include locker rooms, the View Restaurant offering Thai, European, and Chinese cuisine, a chipping green, driving range, putting green, and a pro shop. With its high-quality conditioning and unique setting, Chee Chan is poised to become a top golf destination in Pattaya.
