Green Valley Country Club, designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr., is conveniently located near Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi International Airport, yet offers a serene countryside setting with mature trees and shrubs. This demanding course features challenging holes with long water carries and undulating fairways that often leave golfers with difficult lies. Strategically placed bunkers and hidden greens add to the complexity.

The challenge begins early, notably on the second hole, a long par 5 with water hazards on the left and fairway bunkers on the right. The fifth hole, another par 5, requires careful navigation of water hazards to position your shot, with a risky water carry to the green if going for it in two. The sixth hole, a par 3, tests bravery with a water carry to the green, although a bailout area is available.

The par 4 eighth hole presents a risk-reward opportunity, requiring a strategic tee shot near a left-side bunker. The back nine starts tough with a par 4 guarded by a large bunker and deep greenside bunkers. The eleventh, a challenging par 5, demands precise placement to avoid a lake and bunkers, with a tricky approach over water to a narrow green. The twelfth is a par 3 with a full water carry, and the sixteenth is bordered by a lake, increasing the risk.

The seventeenth par 3 and the final par 5 are particularly tough, with water and bunkers posing significant challenges. After your round, the clubhouse offers a luxurious retreat with comfortable amenities, including a Jacuzzi and Thai massage services, perfect for relaxing and unwinding.
