Lakewood Country Club
Lakewood Country Club, located just a short drive from downtown Bangkok, offers a 27-hole layout with three distinct nines: Lake, Wood, and Rock. Built on flat land, the course features extensive landscaping and earth-moving to create an engaging playing experience.
The Lake Course is notable for its challenging holes. The 2nd is a short par 4 with a large bunker protecting the green and several fairway bunkers. The 3rd, a long par 3 over 200 yards, features water hazards and a bunker. The 4th is a short par 4 with water stretching from tee to green, while the 5th, a par 5, has a tricky layout with bunkers guarding the fairway and green. The 9th is a tough par 4 with seven bunkers and a significant water hazard.
The Wood Course starts easier but tightens with the par-5 2nd, which has a narrow landing area and well-protected green. The 4th is a picturesque par 3 with water and bunkers. The 6th requires a drive over a lake and features multiple bunkers. The 7th is a risk-and-reward hole with a stream and bunkers. The 9th is challenging with water along the left and several bunkers.
The Rock Course incorporates water on every hole. The 2nd is a par 5 with a narrow fairway and bunkers around the green. The 3rd is a par 4 with water hazards and a challenging green. The 5th is a long par 3 with water and a large bunker. The 7th is a dog-leg right with a stream and bunkers, while the 9th is a demanding finish with water surrounding the green.
