Pattavia Century Golf Club
Pattavia Century Golf Club, formerly Chonburi Century Country Club, has undergone significant upgrades since being taken over by Chang Breweries in 2014. Located about 50 minutes from Pattaya, the course is now in excellent condition with a new clubhouse, making it a great value option.
Nestled in a remote valley surrounded by pineapple plantations, the course offers a scenic and peaceful golfing experience. Although the road to the club is in poor condition, the course itself features well-maintained, fast, and true greens with challenging undulations.
Key holes include the 6th, a difficult par-5 with water on the left, and the 7th, a long uphill par-3 demanding precise club selection. The 8th is a 397-yard par-4 with a green guarded by bunkers and water. The 12th, the longest hole at 569 yards, has a tricky approach to a well-protected green. On the 14th, be cautious of the pond near the tee. The finishing hole features a blind tee shot and a well-bunkered, elevated green.
The new clubhouse, though small, offers good locker rooms, a pro shop, and a restaurant serving Thai and Western dishes, along with Chang beer. Despite its rural setting and challenging layout, Pattavia Century Golf Club provides a rewarding golfing experience.
