Pineapple Valley Golf Club (Formerly Banyan Golf Club)

Pineapple Valley Golf Club in Hua Hin is a standout course, earning a spot on the list of Best Golf Courses in Thailand. Designed by a local architect, the course skillfully integrates its natural surroundings, including the surrounding pineapple plantations, which often come into play. With six tee boxes, it caters to all handicaps, and well-placed water hazards and bunkers add to the challenge. The fast and true greens reward accurate play.

The course opens with an elevated tee providing great views, and a well-placed drive sets up a manageable approach to the green. The 2nd hole is a challenging par-3 where staying below the pin is key, while the 3rd tempts golfers to use their driver on a downhill fairway. The 4th, a daunting par-3, requires a long carry over water to an elevated green, and the 5th and 6th holes continue the challenge with tricky approaches over water and uphill to the greens.

The back nine starts tough, with hazards on both sides of the fairway and an uphill approach on the 10th. The 11th and 12th are back-to-back par-5s, with the 12th being the longest on the course, requiring strategic play. The 15th, the signature hole, offers stunning ocean views and a narrow green, while the 17th is a great scoring opportunity on a large green. The final hole provides a memorable finish aiming towards the clubhouse.
