Pinehurst Golf and Country Club, once a top golf destination in Bangkok, now struggles to match the quality of newer courses. Popular for night golf, the course can be crowded on weekends, with greens often slow and unpredictable. Caddy service also falls short compared to other top Thai courses.
Located about 45 minutes from central Bangkok and near Don Muang Airport, Pinehurst remains favored by local golfers but shows signs of aging and needs modernization. The club features three nines:
- **North Course (Lakes)**: Inspired by classic American designs, it includes significant water hazards, notably on the 2nd hole with a water-carry tee shot and further water on the 3rd and 4th holes.
- **Forest Course (West)**: The most challenging of the three, it features a raised tee box on the 8th and a large green, with water hazards prominently placed, particularly off the tee.
- **Greenfield Course (South)**: The easiest nine, with flatter fairways and minimal water hazards.
Despite being a more affordable option, Pinehurst's course conditions show wear, and its greens are slow. The club offers night golf and luxury with Rolls Royce VIP golf carts. The large clubhouse provides excellent views and serves delicious Japanese and Korean cuisine.
