Plutaluang Navy Golf Course
The Plutaluang Royal Thai Navy Golf Course in Pattaya, established nearly 50 years ago, offers a mature golfing experience in scenic surroundings. Located about 40 minutes from central Pattaya, it features 36 holes around a large central lake, attracting diverse wildlife.
This classic course maintains a natural feel with its use of Zoysia grass, uncommon in modern courses. The four 9-hole courses—North, South, East, and West—present similar challenges with narrow fairways, well-bunkered greens, and thick rough.
Highlights include the North Course’s third hole with an island green and a lighthouse, and the South Course’s final hole, which requires a challenging approach over water to a small green.
The recently upgraded clubhouse offers good facilities, though towels incur an extra charge. The restaurant provides pleasant views of the course and nearby mountains. Plutaluang is ideal for a relaxing round in nature, offering a fun and traditional golfing experience.
