Located near Khao Yai National Park in Nakhon Nayok Province, Royal Hills Golf Resort and Spa is one of Thailand's premier golf destinations. The 18-hole, par-72 course, designed by Nelson and Wright of Belt Collins and Associates and opened in 2002, is celebrated for its stunning natural setting adjacent to the UNESCO World Heritage site.
The course, measuring 7,034 yards from the back tees, caters to both skilled and novice golfers with its challenging design and wide fairways. It has hosted various professional and amateur events, ensuring it meets high standards. The layout features hilly terrain with a mix of trees and water hazards, creating a picturesque but demanding experience.
The opening hole requires a tee shot over a stream to a wide fairway, guarded by a tree and a bunker. The par-3 3rd hole is relatively straightforward, with a green protected by front and side bunkers. On the back nine, water hazards become more prominent, such as on the par-3 13th and the par-4 15th, where a lake and stream come into play.
Royal Hills Khao Yai is known for its excellent course conditions and is complemented by a luxurious clubhouse and full resort amenities, including four restaurants, a swimming pool, snooker tables, table tennis, and a fitness center.
