Summit Windmill Golf Club Bangkok is a beautifully landscaped course spread over 160 acres, offering a rural ambiance despite being close to the city. Water hazards are a significant feature here, with most holes having water along one side of the fairway, often paired with bunkers on the opposite side. This makes it particularly challenging for golfers who tend to hook the ball.

Designed by Nick Faldo, the course is known for its length and difficulty, starting with a demanding 624-yard par-5 on the opening hole, where water runs along the left side and a stream crosses the fairway. The 2nd hole is a picturesque par-3 with a water hazard on the left, making accuracy essential. The par-4 3rd hole features an island tee box and another water-protected green. The 4th is a longer par-3 but offers a generous landing area for slightly errant tee shots. The par-4 6th, the course’s toughest hole, requires a long drive and careful navigation of a stream crossing in front of the green.

The front nine's signature hole, the 8th, is a par-4 with a large lake and beach-style bunker along one side, creating a formidable challenge. The 9th is a slight dogleg par-4, requiring a long carry over water off the tee. The back nine begins more gently, but the 11th, a dogleg par-4 with water on the right, presents a new challenge. The 12th is a short par-3 with an island-like green, and the 13th is protected by a massive bunker right in front of the tee boxes. The 14th is a par-5 with water on the left and a narrow landing area. The 16th and 17th continue the theme of water hazards and bunkers, with the 17th featuring an oversized beach bunker guarding the green.

Summit Windmill Golf Club caters to all skill levels, with multiple tee options to match your ability. Night golf is available, making it a great option for those looking to play after work. However, it can get crowded, especially on weekends, so midweek play is recommended.

The club features a modern, luxurious clubhouse with a fitness center, pro shop, spa, and various dining options. Accommodation is available at the on-site golf lodge, or for a more upscale experience, Le Méridien Suvarnabhumi, Bangkok Golf Resort & Spa is located beside the clubhouse.
