Tublamu Navy Golf Course
Tublamu Navy Golf Course, located about 40 minutes from Phuket and near Khao Lak, offers a unique golfing experience in an untouched part of Thailand. Originally a 9-hole course, it was expanded to 18 holes in 2002. Owned by the Royal Thai Navy, the course is part of the Royal Thai Navy Sports Development Centre, providing a secure environment with armed guards and exceptional service.
Set against a backdrop of mountains and ancient jungle, the course features a rustic design that enhances its natural beauty. At 6,825 yards, it presents a par 72 layout with 4 par 3s, 4 par 5s, and 10 par 4s. The par 3s are particularly notable: the 6th hole, with its intimidating water hazard, and the 15th, a challenging 230-yard hole where a par is a commendable score.
The 7th and 9th holes on the front nine are standout par 4s, each featuring water hazards that test accuracy and nerve. The 3rd hole, a par 5, is the most demanding, requiring precise shots over water to reach the green, which is situated on a peninsula.
