Windsor Park and Golf Club, located about 90 minutes east of Bangkok, offers a diverse 36-hole experience across four distinct nines: Lagoon, Palm, Garden, and the challenging Lakeside. This mature parkland course is known for its tree-lined fairways, water hazards, and numerous bunkers.
The original Lagoon, Palm, and Garden nines are similar, featuring classic Thai countryside with palm-fringed fairways and well-protected greens. The combination of Lagoon and Palm spans nearly 7,000 yards, providing a scenic and strategic test with generous fairways, water hazards, and bunkers.
The recently added Lakeside nine introduces greater difficulty with its proximity to a large man-made lake, demanding precise shot-making. Greens here are more challenging, with subtle contours that test golfers of all levels. High handicappers should be prepared for a tough round and bring extra balls.
The course is well-maintained, though the original clubhouse shows signs of age. It offers good service and a range of Western and Thai food. Caddies are generally knowledgeable, and opting for an experienced one is advisable.
