Nick Faldo’s second course in Vietnam, and arguably his best, is set on a stunning and diverse piece of land with hills on one side and the pristine shores of the East Sea on the other.
The course is located about midway between Danang and Hue, approximately 1.5 hours from each. If you're traveling from Danang, you can take the scenic route over the Hai Van Mountain Pass, offering breathtaking views, or opt for the quicker journey through the Hai Van Tunnels.
Sir Nick Faldo, known for his strategic approach, took full advantage of the natural terrain here, which includes sand dunes, rice paddy fields, mature trees, scrubland, and exposed rocky outcrops, in addition to the dramatic coastline. True to his style, Faldo designed a course that offers various route options, requiring players to navigate through the natural obstacles of the area.
The standout hole is the par-3 5th, with large mounds protecting the green, and the course concludes with a challenging par-5.
