Long Thanh Golf Club & Residential Estate, located about 30 kilometers north of Ho Chi Minh City, features two distinct 18-hole courses: the Hill Course and the Lakes Course. Both offer a forgiving layout with wide fairways and well-maintained rough, but they each have their own unique challenges.
The Hill Course is more tree-lined, with a variety of strategic elements. For instance, the par 3, 4th hole has two greens with different challenges—one near out-of-bounds and the other near a wall. The par 5, 5th hole is long and requires careful play to avoid a narrow fairway and small green guarded by water and out-of-bounds. The par 4, 6th hole features an island green, while the 11th hole is a tricky dog-leg par 5 with water hazards.
The Lakes Course, as the name suggests, is characterized by numerous water hazards and fewer trees. The 1st hole has a large beach bunker at the back of the green, and the 2nd hole is challenging with water on both sides and two fairway bunkers. The par 3, 3rd hole requires accuracy with water on both sides, and the 6th hole, a par 5, is lined with water and bunkers. The 10th hole is a tough par 4 with water and bunkers, while the 14th and 17th holes feature island greens and significant water hazards.
The club boasts a superb clubhouse with a pro shop, excellent locker rooms, and a popular restaurant offering both local and Western cuisine.
