Stone Valley Golf Resort add to Vietnam's growing reputation as a top golf destination. Located in Ha Nam Province, about 65 kilometers from Hanoi, it takes between one and two hours to reach the course from the city. Hanoi, with its Noi Bai International Airport, serves as an ideal base for golfers, offering easy access to Stone Valley. Opened in Aug, 2018, Stone Valley Golf Resort features an 18-hole course designed by Brian Curley. The course is set against a stunning backdrop of tree-covered mountains, familiar to fans of the film ‘King Kong,’ which was partly filmed in this region. Rivers and streams weave through the valley, creating natural beauty and adding to the course’s challenges.

The course spans 7,280 yards from the back tees, with plenty of elevation changes that enhance the experience without disrupting the natural landscape. Despite the terrain, Stone Valley is a walkable course, so a buggy isn’t necessary. The front nine features wide lakes and streams, with water frequently coming into play. One standout hole is the par-4 7th, where players can attempt to drive the green over a rocky field. The green itself is challenging, with a 1.5-meter drop from front to back, requiring careful planning on approach shots.

The back nine is even more challenging, with significant ridges and excellent finishing holes that offer spectacular views of the mountains and valleys. The final four holes are particularly noteworthy, making the back nine a memorable experience.

Stone Valley also offers a large clubhouse with locker rooms and a restaurant, but the real highlight is the course itself. For any golfer visiting Vietnam, Stone Valley Golf Resort is a must-play course.
