Tan Son Nhat Golf Course
Tan Son Nhat Golf Complex, situated next to Vietnam's busiest airport, offers a unique golfing experience with its four 9-hole loops that form two 18-hole courses. Spread over a 36-acre site, this modern course makes excellent use of its flat landscape to present a challenging game for golfers of all levels.
Designed by Nelson & Haworth, the complex includes Courses A, B, C, and D. The courses are crafted with Paspalum turf, ensuring high-quality play throughout the year.
Course A features a scenic layout winding around a large lake and adjacent hotel and apartments. The opening hole is tough, requiring a strategic drive and approach, and the 8th hole, a par 3, is particularly challenging with its water hazard and tricky green.
Course B is slightly easier, with fewer water hazards. The 4th hole is a short par 3 demanding a precise shot over a pond, while the 9th is a par 5 that requires careful management to avoid water and sand obstacles.
Course C has more water features, including a challenging par 5 on the 2nd hole, and a tough par 3 on the 8th that requires a long carry over water.
Course D starts with a demanding long par 4, requiring precision to avoid fairway bunkers, and finishes with an exciting hole where a strong drive sets up an approach shot to a well-protected green.
