The Bluffs Ho Tram

The Bluffs Ho Tram Strip, designed by Greg Norman, is a stunning links course located along dramatic sand dunes with sweeping ocean views. Known as one of the best golf courses in Asia, it offers a unique and challenging experience.

The course begins with a straightforward par 4, where staying left of the green helps avoid trouble. The first par 3 is quite tough, with out-of-bounds to the left, water to the right, and bunkers surrounding the green. The second par 3, though shorter, is tricky due to the wind and deep bunkers in front of the green—making a par here a solid achievement.

Players face back-to-back par 5s, starting with one that's manageable if you keep right off the tee and navigate the slope near the green. The second par 5 offers a chance for long hitters to reach in two, but a large bunker guards the green. The 8th hole introduces water off the tee, while the 9th offers a wide fairway for a strong drive.

On the back nine, the 10th hole is a lengthy par 5 with a blind second shot and a green surrounded by waste areas and bunkers. The 11th is a picturesque hole along the ocean with a well-protected green. The 12th is a driveable par 4, while the 13th is a "risk and reward" hole with a huge sand dune as a potential hazard. The 14th is the easiest par 4, but the 15th, a long par 3, features a water hazard from tee to green. The final holes offer scoring opportunities before the challenging uphill par 4 finish.
